Tolena Jim

GALLUP — Funeral services for Tolena Jim, 63, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at Rollie Mortuary in Gallup. Edward King will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery.

Jim died Sept. 15, 2011, in Gallup. She was born Dec. 31, 1947, in Gallup into the Meadow People Clan born for the Salt People Clan.

Jim was a homemaker and a kind, loving mother and grandmother. She was generous and always cheerful, a great cook and loved her animals and country music.

Survivors include her husband Bob Jim Sr., of Gallup; sons Elvis Jim Sr. and Bob Jim Jr., both of Gallup; daughters Pauline Jim, Helena Jim, Darlene Jim, Lorraine Ceja and Loretta DuBoise, all of Gallup; father John M. Willie and step-mother Annie Willie, both of Continental Divide; brothers Ray, Ronald, Roger and Danny Willie, all of Continental Divide; sisters Hannie Gibson, Nanci Saunders, Karen James and Juanita Ojeda, all of Continental Divide, Jean Coleman, of Farmington, and Irene Yazzie, of Tennessee; 25 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Julia Smith; son David Jim Sr., sister Lucy Mariano and grandmother Debah Smith.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Jim, Elvis Jim Jr., Randell Jim, Raymond Jim, Raul Ceja and Albert Sandoval Jr.

The family will receive relatives and friends at 1 p.m. at the Churchrock Chapter House.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice Long

TWIN LAKES — Services for Beatrice Long, 51, will be announced at a later date.

Long died Sept. 17, 2011, in Albuquerque. She was born Aug. 21, 1960, in Los Angeles into the Edge Water People Clan born for the Two Who Flows Together People Clan.

A gathering for family and friends will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at the Twin Lakes Elementary School.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
